JACKSON, Miss. - Jackson State University women's tennis team member, Angela Rose has been selected by the NCAA to represent JSU at the NCAA National Student-Athlete Leadership Development Conference May 25-27 in Orlando, Florida at the Walt Disney World Resort.

This particular conference provides an open forum that allows student-athletes to discuss issues that affect them on their campus as well as in their community. The conference also provides the student-athletes the opportunity to enhance their leadership, communication, decision-making and problem solving skills.

Another main area of focus during the conference will be placed on promoting better communication among the student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and faculty.

Rose will be joined at the conference by 700 other student-athletes from all across the country.
