JACKSON, Miss. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference recently announced its all conference honors for women's softball and Jackson State's Ebony Stevenson, a junior first baseman, was named to the All-SWAC first team. Stevenson, a native of Gautier, Miss., is ranked 9th in the SWAC offensive standings in walks. In SWAC defensive rankings she is first in putouts. For the 2007 season she has recorded 17 runs (t-3rd on team), 34 hits (1st on team), 7 doubles (t-2nd on team), 3 home runs (2nd on team), and 21 RBI (1st on team).

The voting was conducted among the conference's head coaches and sports information personnel.
