ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Jackson State women's golf team shot a collective team score of 325 to secure a fourth place slot after the first round of the Flagler Fall Slam at the Slammer and Squire Course at the World Golf Village. The Nova Southeastern University team shot a 319 for first place. Daytona Beach Community College and Lynn University tied for second. Mireille LeBlanc and Jennifer Sells led the Lady Tigers in the individual field with a 79 each, which was good for a ninth place tie. . Lynn University's Maha Haddioui was the lone golfer in the 102-player field to break par, carding a one-under, 71 of the par 72 5,815 yard course. The final round will be played tomorrow starting with an 8 a.m. tee time.
