JACKSON, Miss. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced it 2007 all-academic honors for the sport of golf and Jackson State University was represented by Mirelle LeBlanc and Michael Bailey.

LeBlanc, a sophomore from Meghan Canada, has a 3.80 cumulative grade point average. She finished tied for second place in the individual standings during the 2007 SWAC golf championships, with a 156 (79-77). The JSU Lady Tigers won their 10th SWAC title this year.

Bailey, a junior from Carrollton, Texas, has a 3.65 GPA. The Tigers recorded a second place finish in the 2007 SWAC championships. He tied for 6th place in the individual standings with a 234 (82-77-75).
