The Jackson State University women's golf team finished a rain shortened Lady Colonel Collegiate with a seventh place finish. Due to heavy rains resulting in unplayable course conditions at Ellendale Country Club on Monday it was determined the event would be shortened from 36 to 18 holes. JSU's Shasta Averyhardt led the Lady Tigers with a 75 (39-36), which was good enough for a tie for eighth place. Merielle LeBlanc followed with a score of 79 (tied for 21st). Nikeya Peay finished in 40th place, Jennifer Sells came in 42nd place and Amy Breakwell finished tied for 47th place. Jackson State finished with a team score of 325.
