ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The final round of the Flagler Fall Slam was cancelled Tuesday (Oct. 2) morning after heavy rains in the local area made the course unplayable. The JSU Lady Tigers finished in fourth place out of 20 teams with a 325 score. Mireille LeBlanc and Jennifer Sells tied for 9th place with scores of 79 (7 over par). Shasta Averyhardt finished tied for 17th place with an 82 (10 over par). The Nova Southeastern University women's golf team won the rain shortened 18-hole, 20-team tournament with a 319 at Slammer and Squire Course at the World Golf Village (par 72 - 5,815 yards). Daytona Beach Community College and Lynn University tied for Second. The Lady Tigers will return to action Oct. 7 to compete in the Arkansas State Lady Indian Classic held in Jonesboro, AR.
