NCAA Women's East Regional Photo Gallery

ATHENS, Ga. - Jackson State Seniors Shasta Averyhardt and Nikeya Peay ended there last golf tournament as Lady Tigers with a final round of golf at the University of Georgia Golf Course Saturday as they posted final scores of 80 and 84 respectively at the NCAA East Regional.

"I am extremely proud of this team, they came to this tournament and did the very best they could do and I could not have asked them to do a better job" Coach Payton noted on his golf team.

The Lady Tigers ended the tournament with a final score of 325, cutting their score by 13 shots from the first day of competition. After three days of competition the Lady Tigers ended with a final score of 996 (338-333-325).

Averyhardt shot 80 on the third day for a final score of 240 (83-77-80) while Peay shot 84 for a final score of 269 (94-91-84).

Jennifer Sells ended the tournament with a score of 79, cutting four shots off of her second-day score to post a final score of 247 (85-83-79).

Mireille LeBlanc posted a score of 82 for a total score of 250 (83-85-82) for the final day of competition while Lauren Ragland ended the tournament with a final score of 269 (87-88-94).
