JACKSON, Miss. - On the first day of the Jackson State University Capital City Collegiate Classic the Lady Tigers bowling team finished with a fourth place finish and a 4-1 tournament record. In the first game the Jackson State Lady Tigers came off the lanes with a big win over Alabama State, then swept Louisiana Tech and Mississippi Valley State. In the fourth game JSU struggled with and lost to Arkansas State. The fifth game was a position round match and the Lady Tigers got a baker match win against LA Tech. Freshman Autumn Glencamp bowled a high game of 252 to finish 3rd place. Freshman Ahley Blakley scored high with an average of 227 to make the All-Tournament Team. The leader for the day is Nebraska (5-0) with total pins of 5554, Nanderbilt 5505, Arkansas State 5458, JSU 5388,LA Tech 4821, Grambling State 4541, Alabama State 4126 and Mississippi Valley State 3453.
