HATTIESBURG, Miss. -The Jackson State University men's cross country team finished in fourth place in the Southern Miss Cross Country Invitational Friday at Tatum Park. The JSU Tigers finished with 117 points. West Alabama captured the team title with 53 points. Xavier followed with 68 points and Milsaps was third with 92. Kevin Itima and Stanley Morton were the top finishers for JSU. Itima came in eighth place with a time of 23:21.57 and Morton came in ninth with a time of 23:24.56. The Tigers will return to action Saturday, Sept. 15 to compete in the South Alabama Invitational. |
