HOUSTON, Texas - Justin Vance took first place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.84 seconds and fourth place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.89 to headline the Jackson State Tigers at the 57th Annual TSU Relays on March 22.

Debodrick Walton and Allen Senegal took second and third place in the 400 meter dash, finishing with times of 47.61 and 47.73 respectively. Jamal Jones finished fifth in the 5000 meter run with a time of 16.45.58 minutes.

Derrick Ray finished third in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 52.71. Dedrick Brunett finished the javelin throw in fifth place with a mark of 45.59 meters and Afolabi Ayanwale finished fourth in the triple jump with a final mark of 14.63 meters.

The Tigers had top six finishes in three relay categories. The Tigers will travel to Tuscaloosa, Al., on March 27 to run in the Alabama Relays.
