TUNICA, Miss. - The Jackson State men's golf team sits middle of the pack on day one of the JSU National Invitational at the Tunica National Golf Course. After two rounds of play the Tigers have a 591 score. JSU shot a 295 in round one and 296 in the second. Michael Bailey is tied for 8th place on the individual board with a 143 (one under par). Reggie Newton is tied 24th place, Albert Kilgore, III is tied for 33rd and James Cox, Jr. is tied for 37th place. Sebastian Lopez is in 53rd place. Murray State is in first place with a one-day total of 568 and Southern Illinois is second with a score of 572. The final round of play will start at 7:30 am Tuesday morning.
