The 2008 SWAC Men and Women's Golf Championship will be held at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Philadelphia, Miss.

The Lady Tigers of Jackson State will try to successfully defend their 2007 title and win their 11^th championship in 13 years. Texas Southern's defeated Jackson State to claim the school's first conference golf championship. Prior to last year, Jackson State had won 19 straight men's titles.

Day one of competition will begin on Sunday, April 20 with first round action teeing off at 9:00 a.m. On April 21, the final round for the women will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the men's second round tee times begin at 9:00 a.m. The men's competition will conclude on April 22 with a 9:00 a.m. start.
