JSU: 2010: Emerged as one of the best signal callers in the country... prior to suffering a collar bone injury in the first half of the final game of the season he was on pace to shatter several JSU passing records... in his first season as a Tiger he finished 2nd in the NCAA (FCS) with 3,436 yards passing and 3rd in the nation at 312.0 yards per game... he threw for 31 TDs and rushed for another 10 scores... his 3,600 yards of total offense was tops in the SWAC and 2nd in the nation... twice he threw for 5 touchdowns and had 7 300-yard passing games on the season... tied JSU's single season passing TD record... he also led the FCS in points responsible for (23.1 ppg)... he was named to the SWAC Newcomer of the Year, a 2010 All-SWAC first team member, a 2010 SBN All-American team meber, 2010 Walter Payton Award and Conerly Trophy finalist.

JUCO: Helped lead the Grand Rapids CC Raiders to a 9-2 record as a sophomore... passed for 2169yards and 24 TDs and rushed for another 620 and 11 TDs... his team played for a JUCO National Championship in the 2009 Top of the Mountains Bowl... the Raiders fell 41-37 to Snow College... Grand Rapids CC finished the 2009 season with a 9-1 regular season record.
