Dec. 6, 2007 BERKLEY, Ca. - The Jackson State University men's basketball team dropped its third straight game with a 117-74 loss to the California Golden Bears Wednesday night. Grant Maxey led the Tigers with 18 points and seven rebounds and Darrion Griffin chipped in 10 points and four assists. Four Golden Bears scored in double figures. Patrick Christopher scored a game-high 26 points, while Ryan Anderson added 23. Harper Kamp finished with 16 points and Jerome Randle 14 points. JSU trailed 57-35 at halftime. With the loss JSU falls to a 1-8 record and Cal improves to a 6-0 record. The Tigers will return to action Dec. 7-8 for the Drake University Regency Challenge.
