JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State Baseball team swept the Concordia College Hornets in a non-conference doubleheader 11-0 and 12-2 Wednesday afternoon, posting a three game winning streak.

In game one, the Tigers shutout the Hornets with 11 runs on eight hits. Enrique Quintero and Jerome TYES scored two runs respectively while Charles BROWN hit a home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. Winning pitcher Chris HUGGINS went for six innings allowing only four hits.

The Tigers went on to capture the second game of the day, but allowed two runs. In the bottom of the third inning with one man on base, Pernell HALLIMAN hit JSU's second home run of the day. Willie WESLEY had three hits and two runs and LaDerek CAMPER had two hits and two runs.

David Delacalle picked up the win for JSU, as he went six innings and allowed six hits, two runs and struck out one batter, Relief pitcher Aljammi Davis struck out two.

The Tigers will take on Alabama A&M on Saturday, March 8-9 in Huntsville, Ala.
